Is there anything better than dipping your toes in the Gulf of Mexico just as the sun comes up? That quiet time, when just about everyone else is sleeping, is the perfect time to take a blanket and some coffee and just go listen to the waves crash against the sand. A little slice of heaven!

It was so exciting to see the Wharf for the first time! We had taken a short trip down the beach to see all the new oceanfront construction – what beautiful condominiums and resorts! -- and decided our return trip should take a different route. We journeyed along the Intercoastal Waterway, enjoying the scenery, and found ourselves in front of the Wharf. What a treat!
